And why just botox; even other means of cosmetic surgery has been wholeheartedly adopted by people. This trend is particularly popular among celebrities and that’s understandable considering the huge role of glamour and youth in fashion villa. Now the trend has spread to affluent class and so called socialites and young aspirants in order to boost their self-image. But point that is often ignored is side effects of botox and related medication. Most of these side effects are minor in nature few of them can turn out to be serious. Therefore, it is advisable to keep abreast of all the aspects of botox.
There are few common side effects of botox like; anxiety, dry mouth, infection, droopy eyelids, back pain, dizziness, bleeding at the injection site, sore throat, drowsiness, flu-like symptoms, runny or stuffy nose and weakness. When botox is used for cosmetic purposes, chances of negative side effects are quite high. One common side effect is drooping muscles and skin. One can also witness some sort of headache and muscle aches. Muscle weakness is a common effect experienced by people having gone through botox treatment.
Many people experience nausea or mildly upset stomach as well. The place where injection has been given often shows some bruising, swelling or redness. There are few rare potential effects as well like allergic reaction in patients. It could be wheezing, hives or itching. Many people complain of blurred vision and chest pain, however that is quite rare. All in all, these negative side effects come as the price of looking young.
