Diva styles

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Glam styles on the ramp can be brought down in daily happenings with a bit of tapering down. This can be using the neck lines and retaining certain simplicity for the evening party and also getting the right kind of accessories. Slick gelled hair and an off shoulder dress can falter the best figure you wish to model. Diva styles are more about attitude that you need to project and are available in a range of garments.

In case you wish to go in for a makeover, a party time is the best time. Go in for a new hairstyle and visit a nail bar. The astonishing styles in nail art and manicures seem great to start with. Explore cosmetics and their magic as per your skin type. A routine workout is the primary necessity to maintain a body image. Understand the trends and choose colors that compliment the season.

Fabric blends may seem necessary for the silhouette. Use fabrics that go with your style. The necessity is high on the comfort quotient. In case you are not comfy with stilettos then practicing is vital before the main event. Fabric and metal allergies will need to be ruled out well in advance. Drastically changing the image may not be desirable and subtle makeover tips are more essential.

Ethnic diva styles are adorable with designer wears in lehenga cholis and exclusive saris. Chandelier earrings and other premium good quality jewelry are very important to upkeep with the other essentials. Size is a more of a myth and plus sizes or waif figures just need to understand what suits them. Investing in a good designer solves most of the problem.

Tatoo art or peircings are still in but being mellow on the same is recommended. Flaunt your accessories in casual appearances and bring on the radiant smile for oodles of confidence.

Passion for fashion

No doubt, fashion awareness is increasing in India. Now fashion is no more a monopoly of Bollywood damsels and heroes or just confined to rich people.  Even a common college going boys and girls or a man and women working in a corporate, follow the latest trends  and wear the designers attire even for their daily office wear or for casual wear.

10-20 years back if you had asked any middle class person to name any fashion designer, he would have started scratching his head but now even from a lower middle class house if you ask ,  they will exultantly   tell the names like : Ritu Beri, Rohit Bal ,  Ritu kumar, Manish malhotra, Neeta lulla etc.

Time is changing and so, is the thinking of Indian middle class society. Everyone wants to wear branded clothes. The figure conscious youngsters do not hesitate in experimenting with new styles, colors or cuts to flaunt their body.

A fashion designer has to be very creative and original to create a niche in the fashion world. They should be imaginative and should be able to express their imagination on the paper through sketches.

We all know that “Designers” create and produce different kinds of fabrics, shoes or accessories. This needs lots of research to know which fabric goes with which color or style. Which particular style will be popular in which particular season? They sketch the preliminary designs and once the color, fabric and style is finalized, a prototype is prepared. Based on the prototype, designers need to interact with the manufacturers, suppliers to procure the material. To produce the final product, requires a lot of experimentation, innovation and working for long hours to come up with the final product.

Indian Fashion industry is a pool of many talented designers like Ritu Beri who have created their position not only in the Indian market but have gone global with her designs.

Rohit Bal, Hemant Trivedi, Shahab Durazi, Shantanu & Nikhil and Krishna Mehta   are the designers reckoned at the national level.
