Saree Blouse Designs
Saree blouses are one of dress material which the females ought to wear while wearing an Indian saree. There are three materials used while wearing saree, namely: Saree, a saree blouse and a petticoat. A saree blouse is worn on the upper portion of the body covering the breast region of the females and it hangs till the waist area.
Saree blouses accentuate the feminine beauty of the female wearing a saree. Saree blouses come in different sizes and different blouse designs. Saree blouse designs vary according to the size of the female wearing it. It ranges from small to medium to larger sized saree blouses. As far as different blouse designs are concerned; the designs of blouses vary as per the fabric of the blouse, work done on it, size of the sleeves and work done on sleeves as well.
Saree blouses can be made using any kind of material or fabric including cotton, crepe, velvet, chanderi, satin, net, silk, georgette, chiffon and so on. These materials can either be transparent or semi-transparent by nature. Based on the type of the fabric, saree blouse designs may vary for transparent blouses and semi-transparent blouses. Transparent blouse designs are thought based on the lining used underneath. Variations in the blouse designs of a transparent blouse are done in such a way that it highlights the work done on the blouse fabric itself. However, the lining used is made up of plain simple fabric. In contrast to this, blouse designs of semi-transparent blouses are more artistic as there is no fear of vulgarity.
Saree blouse designs can also be decided either on the work done on the blouse fabric or the saree with it. The blouse designs of sarees can be adorned using different kinds on embellishments on it, like: beads, pearls, sequins or laces and so on. However, it should be kept in mind that work done on the blouses should match the work done on saree itself.
Based on the sleeve lengths, saree blouse designs include short sleeves blouse designs, 3/4th sleeves blouse designs and long sleeves blouse designs. Short sleeves blouse designs have short sleeves that cover the shoulder area only. 3/4th or quarter sleeve blouse designs cover the partial length of the arm till the elbow. Long sleeves blouse designs cover the full arm length. In some cases, more flares can be added beyond the arm length which covers the palm region also. Modern saree blouse designs include sleeveless blouse designs which do not have any sleeve as well. In such cases the support is given by the straps used. Puff sleeves are also one of the beautiful blouse sleeves designs.
In addition, different saree blouse neck designs are also available. These include: round shape blouse neck designs, oval shaped blouse neck designs, ‘Paan’ shaped blouse neck designs, rectangular blouse neck designs and a bold halter neck blouse design.
Generally speaking, all the sarees available in the market have additional blouse pieces matching the saree, but, the option of going for any other matching blouse also can be a wise decision in some of the cases.
