Makeup Tips For Monsoon

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Different seasons demand differently from your skin. If appropriate care is not taken, demanding seasons can take heavy toll of your skin. We have talked about how to take good care of your skin during summer. Now, let’s have an idea about monsoon and what you need to do during monsoon to enhance your beauty. It’s not an easy job to appear glowing and cheerful during monsoon but slight effort, few precautions here and there and you can literally surprise people. Start with right selection of clothes. Different clothes react different to monsoon. For example, cotton and silk soak water easily. Consequently, they also become limp and lose their shapes after drying up.

The best suggested clothes for monsoon are synthetics like terylene and nylon. The thing about these materials is they dry up easily, don’t lose their shape and are crease resisting. Well, the ideal combination would be using vivid, vibrant and colorful clothes. The colors like green, deep orange, turquoise etc will add charm to your personality. Footwear is another important aspect you should pay attention to. Save your feet from getting wet by using plastic or rubber shoes. If your shoes are wet, get rid of them immediately once you have reached home. Clean your feet thoroughly with warm water using soap. Use glycerin on your feet before going to sleep. That will help in keeping your feet smooth, soft and free from any skin problems.

Hair-do must be very simple. No fancy styles and curls etc. reason being, hair tend to be limp and weak because of humidity so it makes sense to use a single plait or a plain bun. Make sure to have a hair dryer. Avoid sing foundation and face cream during rain. Chances are your make up will be spoiled by rain and some ugly stained lines might appear on your face. Just use plain eyebrow pencil, lipstick and powder. Lip-gloss would be fine.
