Split ends is a major problem faced by many people. Hair care is a delicate issue and despite the onslaught of several hair care products, one cannot get rid of all the hair problems in a jiffy. Many products do help in bringing that shine and beauty to the hair but they also do not have answers to all the problems faced by hair. In such cases, it is better to take preventive measures. Split end is one of the most common problems. They harm in two different ways of damaging your hair and stunting the growth. They also cause rough hair. The first thing you need to take care is of avoid using chemical ridden materials. Natural stuffs are always recommended for better hair. Chemical materials adversely affect hair texture in the long run. Swimmers often face problem of split ends because of chlorine in the water. For them, using swim cap or shampooing hair properly after the swim is strongly recommended. Water coming through your tap is full of chemicals and these cause split ends. Use filters to get better water and prevent your hair from getting split ends. Alternately, you can also use water softening system in the house.

 

Hair must be combed straight. Back-combing causes great damage to hair. One should not comb hair too much as it causes split ends. Just a fw times and it is more than sufficient. Try using a pick or wide-toothed comb that would be greatly beneficial for your hair. Be very gentle to your hair. Try wearing hat while you go out in sun because ultraviolet rays affect hair. The simple answer lies in conditioning your hair in a proper way and you will again have shiny and resilient hair. Deep conditioning enhances the quality of your hair and also helps in regaining the lost moisture caused by environmental problems.

Some of the basic requirements for shining hair are quality conditioner, water, leave-in conditioner, plastic cap, wide toothed cob and a heating unit. Get ready for taking good care of your hair. Start with washing your hair thoroughly with a suitable shampoo. Once you are done with shampooing, rinse your hair properly and take out all the excessive water from your hair. Now is the time to use deep conditioner. Use conditioner generously over the entire scalp and on hair. Make sure no part of scalp remains left out. Use comb if you have dense hair. Now use the plastic cap over your head and cover all the hair.

Now is the time to the hard work of using heating device on the head. Leave it for 20 minutes. One the time is up take off the heating device and remove plastic cap.
